What is covered?

By undertaking this session, leadership will gain an in-depth understanding of their role, obligations, and their role in championing the process.

  1. What are psychosocial risks and how do they play out in the workplace.

  2. Understand your obligations

    • ISO45003, New Zealand's Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and 'the Code' under Australia's Work Health and Safety Act 2011

  3. Understand why psychosocial risk management is important to you as a leader

  4. Briefly discuss the research that affirms and challenges attitudes to lead psychosocial risk management.

  5. Strategic models that will support them integrate psychosocial risk management while staying in line with their obligations.

  6. Insight into preventive and reactive strategies to managing psychosocial risk.

  7. Identifying some of the main symptoms in the workplace (e.g. burnout and trauma).

  8. Identifying the cause!
