We develop organisations through delivering professional coaching and workshops across a range of important areas.
As workplace psychologists and lifelong learning enthusiasts, we use our understanding of the human brain to maximise learning for our clients by getting the brain thinking about things a new way!
Our professional focuses include:
Resilience & Wellbeing
Do you want all your people to be healthy, well and safe?
Do you want a culture where everyone is fully engaged in their Health, Well-being and Safety because they want to be, not because they have been told they have to? When people start to take ownership and responsibility for their own behaviours, they start to own everything as a whole. It then becomes not just about a Health, Well-being and Safety culture, it becomes about each individual and the organisation in its entirety.
Through the disciplines of Psychology, Neuroscience and Emotional Intelligence we are equipped to understand people’s attitudes. We don’t focus on compliance of rules and regulations, we focus on the ‘how to’. How to get people motivated and engaged with not only Health and Safety but also their Well-being, which we see as the axis from which Health and Safety spins on.
We offer customised development solutions including group and individual work.

Is your team important to you?
Leaders are important, teams are crucial. No matter how brilliant the business strategy is, if your team is not healthy the team will not produce the goods. How groups of people 'team' - ultimately work together - is not only dependent on the leader but also on those in the team and how they do 'teaming'. Building strong, healthy and productive teams is an art due to the complexities that come from putting a group of people together. Fortunately, we know quite a bit about human behaviour and we apply what we know about how people work to your team so you can get the outcomes that you are looking for.
We offer customised training and development solutions for organisations, teams and individuals

Nothing is as invisible as the obvious
50-80% of Kiwis will experience a Mental Health or addiction problem in their lifetime. (MHC, 2018). Workplaces simply cannot ignore this anymore and we have to start looking at our work environments and how we can deal with what has essentially been the invisible part of Health and Safety up until now.
While New Zealand’s workplace safety incident rates are inexcusably high and rightly deserve our attention, addressing our failures in relation to worker safety should not excuse us continuing to ignore our even greater failures in relation to our workforce's Mental Health and Well-being (Duncan, 2016).
We believe in order to make work places great, we have to acknowledge our people as a whole - the physical and psychological, and learn how to create work environments where everyone has the opportunity to be both physically and psychologically safe.
So what is Mental Health and how does it impact the workplace? Mental Health comprises of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices
Mental Health can range from feeling a bit out of sorts to experiencing high levels of stress, burnout or anxiety.
What we know about people is, when we feel good about ourselves often we are more likely to work productively, interact well with colleagues and make a valuable contribution to the workplace.
So lets make the invisible visible so that we are better able to manage the Mental Health and Well-being of our people at work.
We can work with you in the areas of:
Promoting positive Mental Health and Well-being in the workplace
Support leaders in working with team members who are experiencing Mental Health and Well-being challenges
Dealing with stress in the workplace
Managing anxiety in the workplace
Organisational change and Mental Health
Growing a resilient organisation
Do you have people who would benefit from some one on one development?
If the answer is yes, then you are not alone.
But what is Coaching?
Coaching is defined as a 'process of equipping people with the tools, knowledge and opportunities they need to develop themselves and become more effective' (Peterson & Hicks, 1995). In our business, our coaches are Psychologists. Coaching psychology can be understood as being the systematic application of behavioural science to the enhancement of life experience, work performance and well-being for individuals, groups and organisations (Grant, 2006).
Behind every successful sportsperson and team is a coach
And the same goes for individuals and teams at work. Coaching is proving to be a very successful platform for businesses to further develop their people. Coaching can slot into busy schedules and can be tailored to both the individual and the team. Sometimes it takes someone who is not part of the organisation or who is not too close to the challenges to be able to help individuals and groups see the wood from the trees. What makes our coaches different is that they are Psychologists with extensive training and expertise in understanding human behavior. So you will not only be getting a coach, you will be getting your own Psychologist.
We provide individual and group coaching programmes for those who have goals that they are wanting to achieve.
